Aesthetic Surgery

Cosmetic surgery is a better understood term – this area tends to focus on changing people’s appearance through surgical techniques. Aesthetic medicine applies to non-invasive procedures (using needles, lasers etc). They are still medical in nature, but smaller procedures which often can be done in an hour or less.

What we now offer at the clinic is Fat Transfer, which can be a stand alone treatment or added into a surgical treatment.

Plastic Surgery is different to Maxillofacial Surgery. Maxillofacial is a head and neck specialty. Our MD is a specialist head and neck reconstructive surgeon, mainly post cancer. This enables us to manage the face in a way that no other discipline can. Often, aesthetic practitioners will give a consultation on what treatment they think a patient should have based on the equipment and tools available to them, this is limited because they are not considering the surgical options, they are missing that vital piece of education that gives a patient the full picture and can therefore consider all their options.

Our clinic stands out because all our clients see the facial surgeon as a matter of course, therefore we construct a plan where all aspects of non-surgical AND surgical techniques have been considered.

Sometimes surgery is the only treatment that will give the desired results. Many practitioners who cannot perform surgery, advise against It, this is due to lack of understanding and education on the complex nature of surgery.
