Exilis Ultra 360 Radio-Frequency Tightening
Transform your body with BTL Exilis Ultra 360 — the premier non-surgical body sculpting and skin tightening solution. This clinically proven, FDA-cleared treatment uses advanced radiofrequency (RF) and ultrasound energy to reduce stubborn fat, tighten sagging skin, and stimulate new collagen and elastin production, giving you firmer, smoother contours from head to toe. BTL Exilis Ultra 360’s dual-energy technology safely heats deep tissue to disrupt fat cells and ignite collagen remodelling, helping to tone the abdomen, thighs, arms, and other problem areas without surgery or downtime. Multiple clinical studies have shown significant improvements in skin laxity and body shape with Exilis, making it a trusted choice for patients seeking effective body contouring and skin tightening results with minimal recovery time.

EXILIS ULTRA 360™ is an award-winning, non-invasive treatment that combines radiofrequency (RF) with ultrasound energy to help tone, tighten and reshape targeted areas. It’s ideal for clients seeking firmer, smoother skin, visible body contouring, and a clinically supported approach to skin tightening and body sculpting.
Exilis Ultra 360 simultaneously delivers RF and ultrasound energy to the treatment area, gently heating the deeper tissues where fat deposits and cellulite can accumulate. This controlled thermal effect supports fat reduction and improves the appearance of cellulite, while RF energy helps stimulate fibroblasts in the skin’s deeper layers (dermis) to promote collagen and elastin production. As collagen remodelling occurs, the skin can appear tighter, smoother and more lifted over time.
Many clients choose Exilis Ultra 360 for improvements such as:
- Tighter, firmer, smoother-looking skin
- A more sculpted, contoured shape
- Reduced appearance of cellulite
- Improvement in areas of stubborn fat (abdomen, flanks, thighs, arms, buttocks)

At Clinic M in Inverness, education is our USP. We understand how body contouring and skin tightening technologies work—and how to use them safely and appropriately. Radiofrequency is not suitable for everyone or every area, which is why we take a targeted, informed approach, especially when treating the face. A highly trained practitioner is essential to assess suitability, explain realistic outcomes, and ensure you feel fully informed before starting treatment.
EXILIS ULTRA 360™ is supported by published clinical data and regulated use: the platform combines monopolar radiofrequency with ultrasound to create controlled, uniform heating at multiple tissue depths, which is associated with collagen remodelling and improved skin laxity over a treatment course. In clinical reporting, Exilis technology has shown measurable improvements in skin quality (including reduced laxity and fine lines) and is also used in protocols assessing circumferential reduction and body contour changes. In the US, Exilis systems have FDA clearance for specific aesthetic indications such as treatment of wrinkles/rhytids (depending on the exact model/handpiece), which underpins its safety framework when used appropriately by trained practitioners.
Cryolipolysis (fat freezing) can be a valuable add-on when the goal is targeted fat reduction in stubborn pockets—particularly in areas where you can “pinch” a clear layer of fat, such as the lower abdomen, flanks (love handles), inner/outer thighs, upper arms and bra fat. It works by cooling fat cells to a controlled temperature, helping the body gradually clear them via natural metabolic processes over the following weeks. Used strategically alongside EXILIS ULTRA 360™, cryolipolysis can focus on reducing discrete fat bulges, while Exilis is ideal for skin tightening, smoothing texture and improving firmness—a combined approach that’s especially helpful when you want both fat reduction and tighter, more contoured skin in the same treatment plan.
To achieve the best outcome in excess fat management, we start with a thorough consultation to assess your goals, skin quality, fat distribution and medical suitability, then build a personalised plan using the most appropriate technology for each area. Exilis Ultra 360 is ideal when you want tightening, smoothing and contour refinement, while cryolipolysis can be added for pinchable fat pockets that need more targeted reduction. Results develop gradually as your body responds, and most clients benefit from a structured course of treatments with clear aftercare guidance. If you’re ready to feel more confident in your shape, book a consultation at Clinic M Inverness to explore the safest, most effective combination for your body.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best facial for me?
Consultation is the key, unless you already know what your skin type is; oily, dry, flaky or combination, each skin analysis will lead us to a different treatment; therefore, we need to know what your skin objectives are prior to making a choice.
Is there a standard ‘go to’ facial?
Yes. Absolutely. The Coolpeel, without a doubt. It works. It is the best resurfacing tool any practitioner can have. It can resurface the skin from little to fully ablative, its versatile but amazingly effective and results are an absolute.
The workhorse facial is the Nd YAG Laser genesis facial. This is something that should be done regularly, works at a cellular level to keep the skin turnover neatly at 6 weeks. It’s gentle, no downtime and works.
What is the difference between Hydrafacial and Diamond Glow?
DiamondGlow is the only medical dermal infusion machine on the market. It is massive in America whereas Hydrafacial is mainly marketed in this country. DiamondGlow is more a corrective treatment and will bring the skin back to healthy, whereas Hydrafacial is more of a water-based more gentle facial making DiamondGlow the much better option. DG is an advanced skin resurfacing technique that goes deeper than just exfoliating the skin’s surface, meaning you get better more visible results from your treatment.
DG lasts longer too with results lastly approximately 6-12 weeks, whereas Hydrafacial will last approximately 1 week.
What is the best acne facial?
To get acne under control we need an antibacterial laser treatment combined with some effective products. Once we have the skin under control we use a combination of MicroTox, ablative and PRP to ensure we do not damage this skin any further.
How often would you advise getting a facial?
Skin cell turnover is every 6 weeks therefore depending on how good you want the skin to look you need to be doing ‘something’ effective every 6 weeks. Normally, I suggest every two skin cycles on people who have things well under control and are in a good basic skincare package; it lengthens the time between facials. Retinol and growth factors with anti pollution SPF is a must..but that is another subject!
What is your most popular treatment?
Coolpeel by a country mile. It is just fantastic, followed by the DG and Laser Genesis. Another big one is a photofacial to deal with thread veins and pigment. It is a winner and again, hugely instant visible results. This facial needs to be maintained with creams to suppress pigment but, once you have had one, you won’t need another for a whole year.
